Chi tratta i dati
| Piattaforma, modello di dispositivo, sistema operativo, versione dell'app, nazione | Raccolti a ogni accesso | Capire su quali dispositivi l'app funziona male |
A chi vengono trasmessi
I tuoi diritti

Privacy Policy
Effective from 18 September 2026
AthleteHub is a running training application. To work, it processes data about your health and your sporting activity. This page explains which data, why, and who it is shared with, so that you can decide whether to use it.
Who processes the data
The data controller is Massimo Cornalba, who can be contacted at athletehub.info@gmail.com.
What we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, profile picture | Your Google account, on first sign-in | To identify you and let you sign in |
| Date of birth, sex, weight, height | You enter them | To calculate your heart rate zones and adapt your training |
| Maximum, resting and threshold heart rate | You enter them, or we infer them from your runs | To set your training zones |
| Your runs: distance, time, pace, heart rate, GPS track | Your Strava account, if you connect it | To show your history and generate your training |
| Goals, races, training preferences | You enter them | To build your weekly plan |
| Town, address, phone number | You enter them, and they are optional | For your profile only |
| Platform, device model, operating system, app version, country | Collected at each sign-in | To find out where the app works badly |
This is health data. Heart rate, weight and training say something about your physical condition. We process it only to generate your training and show you your own data, on the basis of the consent you give when you create your account, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting it.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising and we do not use it for commercial profiling. We share it only with the providers needed to run the app:
| Provider | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (Ireland, European Union) | All of your account data | It is the database where the data is stored |
| Access to your account | Authentication | |
| Strava | The authorisation you grant it | To import your activities |
| Anthropic (United States) | Your run data, heart rate zones, age, weight, height and goals | To generate the weekly plan and comment on your runs |
| Open-Meteo | The approximate location you ask the weather for | To show weather conditions |
| ipwho.is | Your IP address, at sign-in | To determine the country |
| Cloudflare | Requests to the site | To deliver the application |
Two points we consider important.
1. Your run data is sent to an artificial intelligence model (Claude, by Anthropic) every time a plan is generated or a run is commented on. It is the core of the application and cannot be switched off separately: you can, however, turn off the AI coach and the run feedback in the settings, and in that case no data is sent.
2. Your IP address is not stored: it passes through in order to determine the country and an approximate location, and is never written to the database.
If you connect your watch
If you choose to have your training sent to your watch, AthleteHub publishes it to Intervals.icu, which in turn publishes it to your Garmin account. In that case only the workouts themselves are transmitted — distances, paces and zones — and not your personal data. This connection is optional: you enable it and you can remove it whenever you want. Both services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
How long we keep it
Your data stays for as long as your account exists. There is no automatic expiry: you decide when to delete it.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from within the app, under Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your profile, imported runs, personal records, plans, run feedback and the Strava connection are all removed, and the Strava authorisation is revoked on their side too.
One single row remains, entirely anonymous and with no reference to you: country, town, sex, the dates you joined and left, and how many days you used the app. It exists to understand how many people stop using it, and cannot be traced back to any individual.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction, its deletion, the restriction of its processing or a copy of it, and you may object to the processing or lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. To exercise these rights, write to athletehub.info@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top will change. Changes that affect how we process your data will be announced inside the application.
